Create a Content Standard Publication

You can create new content standards publications if required.

  1. On the Manage Content Standards Repository with ITS page, click Create a new publication. The Create a new publication window appears.

  1. In the Description field, enter the publication name. This is the name that will be displayed along with the publication key in the Publication drop-down list on the Manage Content Standards Repository with ITS page.

  2. From the Publisher drop-down list, which displays the names of existing clients, select the client associated with the publication.

  3. From the Subject drop-down list, which displays the names of subjects created in ITS, select the subject associated with the publication.

    • If the required subject does not exist, add the subject in the following manner:

      1. Click Add new subject. A Create a new CSR subject window appears.

      2. In the Key field, enter a key that will be used to identify the subject.

      3. In the Name field, enter the subject name.

      4. Click Save. A message appears, asking if you wish to continue saving the subject.

      5. Click OK to confirm. A message appears, indicating that the subject has been saved successfully.

      6. Click OK to close the message. The new publication will have this Key which is auto-generated field displays the subject key.

  1. From the Subject from the current bank that new publication will be used for drop-down list, select the subject from the current bank that the publication is associated with.

  2. From the Cardinality and Required level drop-down lists, select the appropriate values.

  3. Click Save. A message appears asking if you wish to continue saving the publication.

  4. Click OK to confirm. A message appears, indicating that the publication has saved successfully.

  5. Click OK to close the message. The new publication displays on the Manage Content Standards Repository with ITS page. You can add the content standards for the publication by following the directions in the Add, Edit, and Delete Content Standards or Mass-Upload Content Standards and SOCKs sections.
